Union Public Service Commision(UPSC) invites applications for the Government Jobs at Indian Meteorological Department available for Electronics and Communication Engineers as Meteorologists Grade-II. Last date for the submission of the Online Reqruitement Application(ORA) is 13th June,2013. Details of the Job- No. of Posts- Total eight posts. One post is reserved for Scheduled Castes(SC) and Scheduled Tribes(ST) Candidates. Three posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes(OBC) Candidates.  Nature of post- Permanent. Eligibilty- Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Desirable-Knowledge of German ,French or Russian(Can read and write). Selected as-Trainee Meteorologists Grade-II for 1 year,after successful completion of training as Regular Meteorologists Grade-II. Pay Scale- During training period of one year stipend of Rs.7200/- per month + 3600/-(One time allowance) After training period Rs.15,600-39,100(PB-3)+ Rs.5,400(Grade Pay).
